Ecological and Environmental Anthropology

Esta revista surge en 2005 en la Universididad de Goergia. Y trata de ser un nexo para todos aquellos que contribuyan a reflexionar desde los ambitos de la antropología ecológica y ambienbtal, en un mundo en crisis, de riesgo, en el que las  catastrofes ambientales y socioeconómicas están afectando a colectivos y grupos humanos diversos. Desde el martes 26 la hemos añadido a nuestra solapa de la derecha en el directorio de revista. Sus editores en el número 1, volumen 1, nos invita a reflexionar y nos avisa de las intenciones de esta poublicación:

"...Experts in many fields have analyzed this story from a variety of angles, and there is a continued need for the exchange of knowledge across disciplines, institutions, and local groups of people. Anthropologists, environmentalists, politicians, aid workers, and local people all bring different perspectives on the disaster itself and changes that will or should take place in its aftermath. Dialogue fostered by this event can not
only help us all understand the complexities involved in dealing with other natural and social catastrophes, but it can also enrich our understandings of the links between humans and their multifaceted environments.
